      • By P-O EklundP-O har gjort knivar i mer än 40 år. Under hans uppväxtår i byn Järvträsk lärde han sig att använda kniven och kosan som nödvändiga bruksföremål. Förutom bladen som han vanligtvis köper av våra skickligaste knivsmeder, gör han allt arbete på kniven själv. Han använder oftast renhorn i sina knivar som sedan graveras på traditionellt vis, vilket innebär att mönstret skärs ut med kniv innan det färgas. Han använder nordiskt trä som björk- och sälgmasur, oftast färgat och stabiliserat. Förutom möten med andra knivmakare är det tävlingar som utvecklat P-O´s knivmakeri mest. Han har även haft förmånen att ha framgångar i tävlingssammanhang, som både svensk och nordisk mästare. P-O är sedan många år är styrelseledamot i Svensk knivförening.
